Hi there! Welcome to Ms. Manning's 3rd grade ELA corner. My name is Ms. Manning, and this is my second year teaching at Berlin McKinney Elementary. My classroom is somewhat nontraditional in the sense that we practice flexible seating. We have exercise balls, yoga mats, bean bags, stools, pillows, and traditional desks. We also have an open library policy--the students are welcome to come and go from the classroom library as they please with their own time. I am the daughter of Clark and Kathy Manning. I still live at home with my family that also incudes my older sister, Lauren, our beagle, Gibbs, and our two cats, Hatteras and Bodie. I love spending my free time with my family, outside, crocheting, or reading (of course). I also enjoy kayaking when the water and the weather agree. Growing up in southern WV has been such a blessing of beauty and peace. I love glitter, cheesy movies, getting my nails done, and watching Netflix. I am looking to move out of my family home soon, and pursue life on my own--an adventure I have been looking forward to for a while. I hope you enjoy navigating my wikispace!
